The famous vermilion bridge spans the Daiya River near the entrance to Nikkō’s shrine area and has long been one of the most recognizable symbols of the town. Here it is rendered in miniature with a red bridge set against muted mountain scenery.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe second figure is decorated with a dramatic white waterfall surrounded by red, orange and green foliage, representing Kegon Falls (華厳滝), another of Nikkō’s best-known natural landmarks.
