After graduating from the old Furukawa Junior High School in March 1946, he began learning woodcarving under his father Saikichi in May of the same year.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStanding 21cm tall, the doll features Okazaki’s hallmark style: a soft, rounded face with a gentle expression and vivid floral motifs hand-painted in red, green, and black across the body. These chrysanthemums are a signature of the Naruko tradition, known for their symmetrical forms and attention to balance.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHis eldest son Yasuo began training in woodcarving under Jinji in 1972. Other students of his included Matsutani Shinkichi , Sato Eiichi, and Nakahachi Tadashi.
