Vintage item, never used. This set of Karatsu-yaki style (唐津焼) leaf-shaped plates beautifully captures the rustic elegance and natural sensibility that define traditional Karatsu ware. Crafted in the form of stylized leaves (ha-zara / 葉皿), the set includes four small plates that blend organic form with understated artistry.
Each plate features a soft, stone-like clay body accented by flowing green glaze along the edges, evoking the appearance of fresh foliage touched by dew. Delicately carved vein patterns enhance the leaf motif, while the speckled clay surface and natural glaze movement reflect the spontaneous beauty prized in Japanese ceramics.
