Founded in 1752 during the mid-Edo period, Tachikichi has remained one of Japan’s most respected ceramic makers for over 260 years, celebrated for creating pieces that combine timeless craftsmanship with practical everyday beauty.
The plate features a fresh 若草色 (wakakusa-iro, young grass green) glaze paired with delicate white geometric and floral motifs inspired by traditional Japanese patterns. At the center, an embossed flower design softly emerges beneath the glossy glaze, adding subtle texture and elegance.
