TB37 - Vintage Japan Ceramic Vase bamboo handle by Tachikichi たち吉
Never used with orignal box. This vintage Japanese 花器 (kaki, flower vase) is crafted by the renowned Kyoto brand Tachikichi (たち吉), a company with a long tradition of fine ceramics and tableware. The tall cylindrical form is decorated with a delicate hand-painted straw motif in earthy brown and soft indigo tones, evoking the refined aesthetics of seasonal Japanese design.
Tachikichi founded in 1752 (mid-Edo period) in Kyoto, it is one of Japan’s most respected producers and retailers of ceramics and tableware. With over 260 years of history, the brand became known for blending traditional Kyoto aesthetics with modern functional design, making their pieces popular both in Japan and abroad.
The vase comes with a removable bamboo handle, adding a natural touch and allowing it to be carried or displayed in different ways. Thanks to its versatile design, it can be used not only as a traditional flower vase but also repurposed as a stylish pen holder, utensil holder, or decorative container in a modern interior.
A beautiful example of Japanese craftsmanship, blending functionality with understated elegance. Perfect for ikebana, seasonal displays, or as a refined accent for your home.
