Very good condition. Usaburo Kokeshi is a kokeshi creation studio located in Ikaho, Gunma Prefecture, founded in 1955. As you can see the iconic hair style, it designed by the first generation Usaburo.
All the wood of Usaburo kokeshi is produced in Gunma Prefecture. Her hair and body matches wood color and shows the harmony of the design. On the body it has scenery of the Hida Folk Village, located in Gifu, Japan. Some buildings of this village are now listed as National Important Cultural Properties.
