Tilted “Village Poetry” The design is minimalist: a burnt wood on the eyes, a simple and clean circular body shape, and beautifully painted Rokuro circular lines. He is an extremely talented Japanese kokeshi artist and one of the pioneers of the Japanese Sosaku Kokeshi movement. His work is in high demand by Kokeshi doll collectors. He has won over 20 Kokeshi Exhibition Awards since 1961 as well as photography awards. Among them, the most important: the Prime Minister's Award in 1979.
